Highlights from the episode:
- Dog domestication — 1:15 — I've had dogs my whole life. They've been super special. It's one of the things that's fascinated me forever is how we, as humans, have brought a wild creature into the home to create this loyal, unconditional love and this bond.
- Pet business opportunities — 16:14 — If we do it for ourselves and we haven't done it for pets, it's a billion dollar business.
- Thinking critically about what dogs we get — 30:02 — If people really understood what kind of hardship it could bring on a month to month basis or even annual basis, I think a lot of people will reconsider dog ownership, or what kind of dog breed they choose. And I think it would help some of these other dog breeds have a chance at not facing extinction.
- Emotional decision making— 35:44 — You take it for face value, and then you really have to sit and think how it's all connected, how are people making decisions, because at the end of the day, everything happens because humans are making these, a lot of times, emotionally driven decisions, not really thinking pragmatically. A lot of it is emotion, so how can we meet them there and better educate them to make smarter decisions, or build businesses catered to them?

What’s a Rich Text element?
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing
Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
