Welcome to Juniper!
Thanks so much for being here early on! For those who don't know me, hello! My name is Allison.
Before starting Juniper, I built and scaled the largest community of women in technology, called Tech Ladies.
After selling the company in early 2022, I took some time off and adopted a high-energy cattle dog mix rescue pup named Addie!
I also started volunteering with and fostering pitbulls and other mixed breeds and fell in love with everything dog-related. (Fun fact: I'm also a "cat mom" with my 12 year old cat Neko. So someday, I imagine we will expand Juniper beyond just dogs :) )
While taking care of my first dog, I realized there is a huge gap in the market for three things:
- Nuanced, thoughtful content that addresses not only practical tips/tricks for life with your dog, but also acknowledges the ups and downs and often emotional aspects of being a dog parent/guardian (if you have cried about your dog, you are not alone)!
- A trusted website where you can discover emerging pet brands that make high-quality, sustainable and well-designed pet products.
- A community tailored for gen-z and millennial dog owners, where you can connect with each other to learn, get support, and access discounts on the best products out there so you can save time and money.
We're launching both a free and paid version of Juniper so there's something for everyone!

What’s a Rich Text element?
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
